What happened, in summary

Moira, from New Zealand, had stage 0 breast cancer found through routine mammography in 2022. She had no symptoms, and the diagnosis surprised her because it was her second breast-cancer diagnosis, about 10 years after the first. Despite the shock, she felt optimistic and thankful.

Moira said the cancer was in remission. Her lifestyle did not change substantially during treatment, although she remained concerned that something unexpected might happen or that cancer could return. She encouraged others to trust the treatment decisions they make with the information provided by their doctors and hoped to enjoy holidays and a good life with her family.
